Dr. Krishna Chouhan—often hailed as the “King of Award Functions” in Mumbai—organized a grand ceremony for the 5th season of ‘Miss and Mrs. India 2026’ and ‘Nari Shakti Samman 2026’ on March 13th. Held on the occasion of Women’s Day, the event took place at the Mayor Hall in Andheri West, a renowned suburb of the metropolis. Presented by KCF, this awards ceremony honored individuals who have performed remarkable work in the fields of social service and humanitarian aid, while also providing a new direction to society through the outstanding display of their art and personality.
Several celebrities were present at this awards ceremony organized by Dr. Krishna Chouhan; notable among the attendees were Chief Guest Hema Sharma (of Bigg Boss fame), Singer Deepa Narayan Jha (wife of Udit Narayan), Ali Khan, Singer Tarannum Malik, Actor Ramesh Goyel, Rekha Rao, Sunil Pal, Deepak Desai Deepak, and Singer-Music Director Chand Sadhwani.
All guests, including Hema Sharma and Deepa Narayan Jha, inaugurated the program by lighting the ceremonial lamp. Deepa Narayan Jha and Tarannum Malik also performed songs during the event.
The jury panel for KCF Miss and Mrs. India comprised Dr. Deepa Narayan Jha, Singer Rekha Rao, and Singer-Dancer Komal Kataria.
Hema Sharma—who rose to fame through Bigg Boss—expressed her delight upon receiving the ‘Nari Shakti Samman’ (Women’s Empowerment Honor) on Women’s Day. She remarked that no amount of praise is sufficient to commend Dr. Krishna Chouhan’s courage and initiative in undertaking such a noble endeavor to uphold the dignity of women.
Author, poet, and lyricist Deepak Desai also expressed his gratitude to Dr. Krishna Chouhan, noting that through the KCF Foundation, he has created the ‘Miss and Mrs. India’ platform to provide women with a golden opportunity to shine. The ceremony was anchored by RJ Aarti, who conducted the proceedings on stage with great elegance. She was also honored with the ‘Nari Shakti Samman’ (Women’s Empowerment Award).
Yogesh Lakhani, CMD of Bright Outdoor Media, was specially felicitated; a company representative accepted the trophy on his behalf. Several media professionals were also honored, including singer Sagar Acharya, Sandeep Ji, singer N.K. Naresh, lyricist Vicky Nagar, Sonal Pandey, Vikesh Singh (Bablu), Rani Jha, Agastya Kumar, Miss Radhika, Anita Raj, Shaista Deshmukh, Mirajul Islam, Vaishali Bhaujar, Dr. Anjali, and Mangesh.
For the ‘Miss & Mrs. India 2026’ pageant, Ruby was declared the Third Runner-up, Priyanka the Second Runner-up, and Palak the First Runner-up (who is merely 16 years old). Beauty Chhada was crowned the ‘Miss India’ winner, while Tina Kanwar became the ‘Mrs. India’ winner. Additionally, Ranjula Roy Chaudhary was named the winner of the ‘Mrs. India Golden Class’ category. All the winners expressed their joy and extended their heartfelt congratulations to the organizer, Dr. Krishna Chouhan.
